Back to back hang ups today in NYC area. My phone number is a non profit org and I no longer answer calls. I wait for unknown numbers to go to voicemail. These robocalls never do. I find myself blocking over 10 numbers a day. It's hurting our non profit and we're on the do not call list. That doesn't matter to them. BTW: we've ascertained that some of these local or USA state numbers are traced back to the phillipines and Russia. Be careful out there.
Same deal here..... they never leave a voice message.... and I don't pick up for unknown call numbers. But why must we have to tolerate such situations???? Under threat of huge fines, telephone service suppliers should be required by law to prevent these types of intrusive calls at no charge to customers..
Called 16 Aug 2017 at 1213. A recorded solicitation to save on my electric bill & avoid upcoming increases. I've received this same solicitation from different numbers. I have been on the Do Not Call list for many years, yet it makes no difference.
