I got a call about my reservation with Cheapoair (they left a voicemail), apparently my name was entered wrong when I booked so they were calling to confirm my name and to tell me how to fix it. Good service with them so far!
this call came from New York,... I picked up and answered,.. asked for me, but i said they had the wrong number, cuz i get a lot of spam callers and credit collectors,... so they hung up.
I would not do business with this company again! I made the mistake of booking airline tickets with them. After carefully entering each passenger information and paying with my CC online, I found that one of the passengers names was completely different and was listed as a male instead of a female. After repeated attempts to have them change this, they refused and won't help resolve the issue. Just that I will have to purchase a new ticket with the correct name. You speak to reps that are out of country and hard to understand. You are put on hold from one rep to another, with hold time between each rep. This is a nightmare and I would only tell others: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, CHEAPOAIR. Use a reputable company instead. After my CC company filed a chargeback to them, I got a call from this number. Only after someone went that far. This is not an honest company. Stay away from them!
Called me at 3 am, asked if this was me (my name) and I said yes, ummhmmm, and they said it was CheapWay and my credit card ending in **** had been used to book a hotel in Russia and it had been compromised. Told them I would check. I called back and the recording said press 0 for operator but none available.
