A man named officer patrick cooper called me with me a foreighn accent saying i owe money to the irs an named for allegation charges. Sounds like a scam i have legitimately tax person who does my taxes with H&R block i feel as if i was being harassed.
Received on my personal cellphone, voicemail left with a robotic voice repeating the number it was calling from, nothing further. Called the number back from a blocked line and received rapid busy signal - sure sign of fraud. Blocked the number.
2 calls today, the 1st x they left msg indicating the call was ftom a county courthouse and to call right away. When I called a man answered with a jamaican accent and answered "IRS"
The 2ND was a robocall and they indicated alawsuit has been filed in my name & to call IRS.
Male w/foreign accent answered the phone saying he was w/IRS Investigations. Told me I had a sexy voice when I said I would not give info over the phone. Invited me to go wherever he was telling me I should be w/him as he has lots of money. This is a SCAM.
Received phone 2 times this morning, Voice mails was left with a robotic voice saying my name was named in a legal case at NY and asked to call them back.. Of course I did not call them back after viewing what people just shared above me.
While I am typing this, they called twice again, very aggressive. I just added the number to a block list now.
