Got a recording about a business loan. When I pressed 1, someone then came on the line. They asked if I was interested in working capital. I started to say "No, please remove me" but they literally hung up as soon as they heard the word "No". Very low class. Have gotten this on a lot of calls lately as I recently got a business license with my city. Wish these telemarketers didn't harvest new business registrations :(
I get calls from this caller very often. But it is always a different number and area code. If I pick up, the outgoing recording says my business has been approved for a no collateral loan. (I don't own a business) If I press 1 to talk to someone. Someone comes on the line. Usually with an accent. I can hear many voices in the background. It is a "boiler room". When I say I don't own a business, they hang up. If I play with them by going along with the BS, they almost always want my credit card number. When I ask why they need that, they usually hang up or say [***] you, or we'll get your money anyway.
When I call the number back, No matter what area code or number, I almost always get the same woman's voice saying "press 1 to be put on DNC list.
THIS IS A REAL SCAM OPERATION!!! STAY AWAY!!!
Business loan scam robocaller who keeps calling my cell phone which is also on the DoNotCall list. As I have been filing complaints with the NY Attorney General as well as the FTC I just could not resist pressing 1 to speak with their "representative".
The woman kept yelling at me saying she was a legal company. When I asked if they were the same loan telemarketer out of New York she said they were out of Wilmington Delaware. So I asked her why she keeps calling my personal cell phone which is on the DoNotCall list and she only repeated over and over they were a legal company. I said no - you are breaking the law and I now have it recorded that you have been told to stop calling and that they were breaking several laws by cold calling telemarketing - at that point she hung up.
