First kept getting calls from (304) 480-7711. When I looked that # up it seemed to be legit Savings Bonds place. When they called the 3rd time I answered and was told by a young man who could barely speak English that I had been selected to receive a $1500 grant and told me to call the 646 number above to talk to his supervisor.
Scam! You don't get "selectted" to receive a grant, you have to apply for it. And IF you qualify, you don't have to pay to receive it, which is what the "supervisor" would tell you if you called.
They're likely spoofing the number of the savings bond place.
