Exactally the same thing happened to me.

I am being scammed right now by this guy. Glad I looked up this number! He's posing as Gabriel. Just so everyone knows be careful!

Thanks, I figured he was a scammer as well. He texted me stating he was in Montreal.

This guy messages me regarding a gift card on Kijiji, saying that he's in Calgary and wants to finish the deal through email transfer. I gave him my first and last name and got the email from him but I figured out that it's a scam and stopped responding. I regret giving my full name, however. Could anything bad come out of this?

Tried to scam me from a Kijiji ad. You can always tell when the person is a bit too eager to buy something that isn't a great deal!
