So this number called me and I blocked it .. I called the number from my office and they hung up on me 4 times after a woman answered.. the 5th time a male answered and did not say IRS but started saying how my name sounded pretty and I sounded young asked my age I said 14 he said he was 18 and did I like 18 year olds.. Creepy people.. BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK do not answer a call from this number
Have received 4 calls from this number over last 24 hrs. The voice mail is an automated female voice that says, "Please call immediately on our department number 646-809-9655. I repeat, please call 646-809-9655. Thank you." Whoever these scammers are only left 2 messages. No idea who they are or what they want.

This is the second call I've received from them. Both calls were at 6:30 in the morning PST. After this morning's message on my machine, I called back. A woman with an Indian (Pakistani?) accent, whose voice was barely audible, answered. When I asked if I could switch phones because I couldn't hear her, she hung up. I called back and she asked if I was given a case file number. I told her I was not. When I asked who she was, she gave her name, her position as an investigator for the IRS. She wanted to know my name and address, which I did not give her. I told her to send me something in the mail so I would know this was legitimate. She said a certified letter would be coming.
It's also suspicious because I can reach them in person without going through any menu first.
I'm gonna call back and mess with them some more.
