Just received this call, and my fax machine was on so I could barely hear what the robotic recording was saying but heard that we were under investigation for criminal activity and that our property would be seized. What a joke! We always pay our taxes. The IRS would not call you. They would send a letter. They need to earn money like everyone else. What scum.
Caller ID said New York. It is an IRS Scam. This was a recording saying that the IRS was going to arrest us for not paying our taxes and it was important that we call them back. Of course, we didn't. I don't know how it got through my robocall/spoofed number blocker.
This is an IRS scam number..I would encourage anyone who gets a call from these guys sitting in India to call them back and tell them off. Let em have it. Maybe then they will stop harassing others. Just ask them for the address of the IRS or Microsoft. That's the other one they say they are. Call them and let them have it because they are ripping off the elderly in the U.S. to 1 Million dollars a day.
