Nelson's instructs me to call them back immediately or their call the local cops then I can go to jail. Does anybody know about this place. Not worried about going to jail I'm squeaky clean and like it that way. But would like to get them to quit calling!
I just got a call from this number too. I did not pick up but just like every one else I have 4 serious allegations against me too. These people. But you know some may people still fall for this. Looks like they are going to come and arrest me. They are probably in prison them selves....
Absolutely a scam, don't let it worry you. They left a message on my phone and didn't even use proper grammar, referred to the police as "local cops," etc. No official call would refer to the police that way, they'd say "local law enforcement" or at least "police." Aside from that just look at all the people here who got the exact same call. Block the number and move on! :)
This is definitely a scam. The IRS will not call you. They will send you a snail mail and you will contact them. Never answer or respond to a phone call claiming to be the IRS unless you called them first.
