They just called me while at work stating I can receive a free grant in the amount of $9000. They gave me instructions to call another number about deciding if I want it western union, CVS, or Walmart. I called and the guy told me I need to register with the U.S. Treasury and they require a deposit of $275. Once this happens they will active my FREE grant to be released. I hung up. Entire call and situation did not make sense.
I got a call from this number a few minutes ago claiming to respond to a job application I put out recently. They offered me an interview for a security position in which I'd check IDs and generate guest passes and all that [***]. I was skeptical until they told me to go tomorrow with my ID (not weird), my social security card (a little weird), and $100 for security training (RED ALERT, RED ALERT, RUN AWAY).
Just to be spiteful, I told them to set up the interview, and then I blocked this number. This particular entity of fine, upstanding individuals stated all the things I told you about above, and told me to meet a Mr. Collins for my interview at 247 West 13 St on the 9 Floor. DON'T FALL FOR THIS. If you give them money, you will never see that money again. If you show them your social security card, your identity will be stolen.
I'm going to post an identical review to this one on many sites. Spread the word about crap like this.
I received a call from this number in response to a job post on Indeed.com for Front Desk reception. Alexa left a message to call and set up an interview. Upon returning the call it goes straight to music then after about two minutes it says not available to take your call ease leave your name and number. What made me suspect is the number seems to be a cell phone. No company would call from a cell phone to set up an interview
I'm looking for work and am putting my resume out there, so of course I'm going to get calls such as this. No message was left for me, however, so I'm going on the comments of other posters here. I let every call go to voice mail, and only return the job calls that seem legitimate.
Same exact hapend to me. I got a call from same name for front desk positin I left mesage after all the music called three times back. That was this morning I Cousy tract te number didn't come up she didn't say from what company I just no it's in the city for front desk
about 3 mins ago i called this number and yes. the music begin to play. i already knew it was a scam because they called my house number instead of my cell phone. i was prepared to give the best i'm new to this act but i didnt wait 2 minutes to lave a message. 100 dollars for security training that i already have. please be careful people make a career out of scamming people looking to make a career.
