Yup - same here! The lady is "Caroline". When I called back, they kept hanging up on me. They say something about federal grant, but they don't speak English so I can't really understand what the rest of it is. I called back multiple times to find out who the hell they were, but since she didn't speak English, she couldn't reply. I heard her calling me an "idiot" to a "co-worker". I guess this is what scammers do all day. Reporting them to the FTC and the Do Not Call Registry. Hopefully these jerks will go to prison over their illegal activities.
Did anyone complete some kind of call for a job survey? I had applied for several jobs in the area, and rec'd a message about a job opening. Then when I returned their call, I realized it was a scam. Now I'm getting non-stop calls from all kinds of crazies.
I received the same call! Explaining the same selection process. Giving me options of how to receive the money, I choose Western Union. Selina then gave me a phone number to call to verify and instruct me on how to pick up my grant of $9,000.
I call the number and get Melvin, Ex 1251, requesting a registration fee of $250.00, in order to get the $9,000 grant I have been selected to receive. Another number to avoid, 646-751-8137.
