A lady with strong accent kept calling me and claimed I was one let her or her friend lost the job. She had my number but looking for another person called KU something like that because it's very hard to figure out what she talked about. I told her stop calling me and did not answer the phone anymore. Eventually she left voice message mentioned something like I was from England. I thought my number was hacked and been used by someone without my device.
But the next day, my employer told me that he received a call from this lady complained about me the same thing. That's scared me since seems like someone else identified herself with my personal information doing something out there.
I called her back with her caller ID and tried to explain to her. But I found out it's impossible since she didn't stop complaining and insisting that I was the one did bad things. She even threatened that she would find me.
I would leave her alone by now but will report to the police department if she keeps bothering me. So far I don't know if she is a hacker or a duped victim. But definitely I am the victim of identity theft for sure.
