I have received several hangs ups from this number over the past week. Usually I just answer the call, put it on hands free and say hello and wait for the caller to either speak or just hang up. Today 12/13/2016 I actually got an automated message saying I owe the IRS and I was to call them back at a specific number and speak with a specific person. All of this is wrong for one, I know that the IRS will never call you. They only use snail mail and certified postal delivery. If a phone call happens its because you are calling them to initiate the conversation.
