I think my name must've been sold on a list when I recently took a two month break from school because I've been getting slammed with calls and emails from "Student Loan Debt Consolidators" ever since. It's different numbers every single time, from all over the country. This is just one of the many, many numbers. I'm not even in collections or anything! My loans were current when I re-entered school and now they're on extended deferral!
Harrashing student loan calls. I'm current on my debt. I'm not illegible for any assistance. Yet, I get at least 20 calls a day with all different numbers. Ancient/Sallie Mae & Art Institute are evil and I guess they sold all our information to every hungry scam/ vulture in the country. Perhaps this is part of "making America great again" soon I guess these calls will be in Russian. Lol.
I paid my student loan completely but saw something about being scammed by the school I went to and may qualify for reimbursement so I put my number now I get all kinds of calls ... that's where these calls are coming from
