Home Alarm System Scam. I first received a call on my cell phone indicating I have been selected for special home security system, a $1500 value, for merely placing a sign in my yard. Typical alarm system scam. This first caller said she was with "American Home Secures". The number calling was 225-410-2217, caller ID showing Baton Rouge, LA. She told me she would have someone else call me. A second call then came in from 646-915-0451, out of New York, NY. A man with foreign accent then started giving me his rehearse lines. I asked him what company he was with and he said Five Star Protection. Apparently the first caller and the second caller didn't have their stories straight. I keep asking him questions about the alarm system and how it worked, and knew he knew very little about alarm system, as I use to install alarms. The more questions I asked and ruder he became. The whole point in even talking to him was to get as much information as I could to post on line about this scam. I could could hear many voices in the background of others giving the same rehearsed scam lines. SCAM - NUMBERS BLOCKED
