Received a text on February 12th at 4:09 a.m. inquiring to purchase an item, how much and its condition - asked for full address and zip code to forward to their transport company to calculate how much it would cost to pick up. Right!
I rx'd an email March 9 asking if I still had my Craigslist "item" for sale. Wanted to know the condition and my address for transport company and Paypal account for payment. I gave "Lukas Cepek" a fake address and a cell phone number. When the call came, I couldn't understand the person because of thick accent. But he said he was in "Georgia". NOT!!! Guess he didn't realize his phone number would show up and could be traced to NY. There is a whole history of this kind of Craigslist/Paypal/WesternUnion type scam online for anyone just a little bit cautious to be able to find out.
Never do Craigslist sales with anyone that can't show up with cash!!
