We got two unexpected calls from this CID number today with CNAM set to "NEW YORK." Both rang once and stopped. We use a third party robocall blocking service that intercepts calls from CID numbers known or suspected to be sources of nuisance calls after one ring.
Looking this number up at some other sites I find two interesting things. First, a popular and free online reverse phone lookup site has no record of this number being assigned at all. Second, the blocking service we use has a sometimes-searchable database of the calls they've recorded for a given number. They've got a record of an IRS scam robocall from this number already.

Received numerous automated voicemail messages from this number claiming to be the IRS. Supposedly they are filing lawsuit and requesting me to call that number. Obviously some sort of scam.
