Yah, I got the same one as Michelle, yes, and I called back and told them this was the B.S. scam going around, them claiming they are from the CRA, and guy hung up lol. Just hit *60 and follow the instructions to block this # from calling you again. And yes,, it is a scam, it's a rogers Cell out of Toronto.
left a message saying urgent i call them Officer John Parker and left number to call 647-243-7461. Tried to call back as i believed this was fraud. When i blocked my number to return the call it did not go through. Then i unblocked my number they answered didn't say anything for about a minute alot of background noise then they said Revenue Canada. I then hung up.
I also received a message from this number claiming to be "Officer John Parker" and demanding the I call or have my attorney call or "things will go badly" - obviously I did not call back, clearly a fraud.

This is a MASSIVE CRA scam. They have a boiler room of over a hundred Indians claiming to be from the CRA. The guys are all absolutely horrible at their job too, think that the CRA headquarters is in Toronto, speak broken English. This is awful, I am shocked that the RCMP can't bring any of these people to justice. I am disgusted that this people are allowed to continue on with this awful scam which targets the elderly and uneducated.
