My mum got a call from this number earlier today, someone who asked for me by my first name casually as if they knew me, and asked if she was my boyfriend and she could put me on the line. That didn't go over so well, and the woman said she'd call back later.
I got hit by one of these before through a contest I signed up for at a camping convention that ended with my 'winning a cruise' on a [***] cruise line, but required that I drive down and take part in some 1000$ time share seminar and buy ins and blah blah blah- and they got really uppity when I told them no and asked to be removed from their [***]. Wouldn't surprise me if this is more of the same, or identity theft [***].
