Didn't answer. They left no message. I phoned back, and it was a series of excused as to why the call was not completed, user at extension '204' is not available, mailbox is full, and finally, 'An error has occurred.' LOL
HI , i received a call from 647-367-9320 . A lady was on the line . She said she was calling from resume builder or some company like that . And she knew all my personal details . Like my email and address . She inquired about my when i graduated from highschool . which program i did in college/university . at that time I thought it was a legit call . I am so worried . I answered some many things like an idiot. She wanted to know if I would be attended school within this year and if so which program i would be considering. Lastly , she said .. okay , all of your information has been updated . thank you . She wasnt a bot . I'm pretty sure . What if they use my information to steal my identity or spam ? I am really worried .
We just finished talking to the same lady, though she sounded genuine, it seemed like they were trying to see if we interested in attending anymore post secondary education. (Maybe to sell it later) she did say that they acquired my resume from another website, which she wasn't able to narrow down and said that it was collected by one of there affiliates. I don't know how to take the information either. It bothers me that companies are now using my resumes against me. It would be better if the company would say to me how they acquired my resume, then I could go ahead and correct this issue.
