Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Duct cleaner call center...no ducts in this house but they continue.  Don't bother explaining or pleading them to stop.  They just follows a script on their screen (a computer makes the actual connection), they are mindless people reading off the screen at the call center (in India).  English is not their first language (or second), don't waste your breath.  

The smarter ones shouts perverted obscenities at you, if you are female.  Best not to respond, if you hear a accented voice and background noise of a call center...just let them eat dead air.

7)  Save the number in your "contacts".   Then punch "options", and send all calls from that number directly to voicemail.

7b)  Arrange to have your ducts cleaned, but if they have already gotten hold of your address, tell them you have moved, and give them the address of a government building.  (you'll need to know the postal code, otherwise they won't believe you)  Wasting their time is the best revenge.

Rec'd a call from a guy offering Air Duct cleaning, duh, again! Definitely call centre in India.  Said the name of the company he was calling for was ADT in Scarborough.  There is no such company.  When I asked for phone number to call back, he hung up.

Hate these calls.

Yup they never cease to give up. Guess it is really a good business to hire a bunch of people to make phone calls and hoping one out of many will try them out. Well. you keep trying I keep blocking. And if I got one of these calls I will sure play with them. My neighbors probably need duct cleaning and I can get them to come in.
