This number has called many times over the past several days. I've picked up a few times and said HI, waited 2 seconds and hung up. They just called again and this time I decided to say HI and wait. Several seconds passed before a lady with a VERY strong accent responded. She went into her 'canned LONG BORING speech', claiming to be from TD and claiming they had a NEW service to offer me and that I could receive Credit info, BUT, it was going to cost me 20.00 a month. After listening to this BORING canned speech for about 1 minute, I stopped her and told her I wasn't interested, wished her a nice day and hung up. Then I googled the number. So 'my' caller claimed she was from TD bank. On Monday, I will call TD, give them this number and see if this number IS in their database an IF they are conducting these calls.
I answered, they said TD Visa...blah blah blah blah credit report free for first month, 19.99 thereafter. They had my full name including my middle name, and address, and then asked for my birthday. I said NO. What I want to know is, why is TD selling them personal information, only my bank and gov't know my middle name.
I've had quite a few calls from 647-496-4196 on my cell phone.........I never answer and they never leave a message.......called the number myself and they say they are Ibex Global Solutions and that you can press "1" to have your number removed from their list. We'll see.......
