I keep getting calls in the morning, saying I won some trip and to press some number to claim the prize, or another number to be removed from the calling list. I hang up each time. This morning I pressed *69 after I got the call and it was from 647-557-5065 which is a long distance call. I then tried phoning that number and got a message to say, I was called to participate in a survey and now the survey time has expired and to be removed from their list press 9. Needless to say I do not press any of these numbers as I have heard this is a scam. I have registered my phone number with the National DNCL and Consumer Protection BC DNC center but still get these calls. It's really annoying to be awoken from sleep for this type of unscrupulous soliciting. Please find these people and put a stop to this!
