Similar experience. Spoke to a fast-talking rep named Steven to whom I politely said no thank you. He called again 4 hours later pretending that we never spoke trying to push the free credit score/protection service. Not sure if it's a scam. I tried calling the number back but it does not ring through. Would not suggest giving out any personal information.
Identified themselves as being RBC or calling on behalf of RBC. Selling credit score and credit protection services and offering a free trial. I assume this kind of marketing works as most people (including me) would be too busy/lazy to cancel immediately.

Claimed she was a representative from RBC named Natalie. I was busy at the time when I received the call and didn't get much info. I called RBC and they confirmed it was a scam.
