I have no idea who these calls are from, but they have tried to call me on my cellphone (which I've heard is illegal if it's unsolicited) in the last 2 days. There is reason to believe that it is CBV, a collection agency. They have also been calling me from 1-888-326-1036. I have seen other posts where they are using Toronto numbers and since I don't know anyone there, I'm assuming this is who it is. I did a reverse number look up and there was no information available.
this number calls at all hours of the day and night. No idea who it is but when I do answer its dead air. And once you answer and hang up they call back again instantly.
I keep getting this number calling my phone the last two days, it tells me to hold on the line and then i'm waiting forever and end up hanging up. It doesn't say who they are or what they are calling about, just to keep holding. It's very annoying! Who are these people!?!
Have this # on my answering machine which takes up all my recording time and important messages don't get to me. A real pain when you are waiting for a call for medical treatment. This could actually be a matter of life and death. Can my family charge them with murder if I die because their message prevented a medical call from getting through. just saying!!!
