I have been getting texts all day long from different numbers. I think it is attached to jobsvianet. It is a scam.
The person from Nippon Steel wants to pay me $25 an hour and send me a check to setup an office in my home. They could at least make it believable.
I have also got a text from Sir Robert Lewis with Met Life and Mr. Adam's with GE Health Care.
I received a text message early in the morning saying Hello and how are you doing today? and then another one asking 'Is this ...then my first and last name. I did not respond at all. However, this is definitely annoying and very odd.
The same happened to me today. I bet something wrong with this number. Maybe he/she wants to commit a fraud. Usually they want you to cash checks, or buy some goods with their money. People should stay away from such things.
I receaved text message saying how ru doing today. then text his/her name age and he/she is hiring manager to global helthcare. finally need to add his/her yahoo.messenger Id. Via Yahoo messenger Id he/she explained about GE helthcare groupe and Interviewed me for the position of Data entry clerk. and congradulate me for start working with GE. In the later day he/she gave me task and I carried out. Regarding my personal information I gave may name and mailing adress only. but I don understand what is happning.
I received a similar message this morning, but have yet to receive any follow-up information. Recently, someone attempted to entice me into a job as a data entry clerk with Adecco. I'm growing tired of having others believe that they can deceive me with job opportunities that are non-existent
same here...i didn't give out my name but he wrote back saying (exactly this with poor grammar): I'm Mr Adams, from GE Healthcare Group. Your resume has been reviewed and you've been picked for an online job Reply if Interested...
Obviously not from someone who should be in HR or recruiting.
