I've been called at least a dozen times since before Xmas. Seems like 2 times every 3 days. I never answer and it is starting to p*ss me off. Nothing but a nuisance. This number should be revoked.
That is a good question. I don't get that either. It is entirely possible that this is one person doing all the annoyance calling, perhaps just to get a kick out of annoying people. Some people need to get a job!
Just got the call again. They have called several times before. Its a SCAM plain and simple. Not an affiliate, not someone trying to anything more than scam you out of your personal information. What more need sto be said. Don't pick up any numbers you don't know. If its important they will leave you a message. To those who are going off about changing their numbers - don't wast your time. These are robocalls. They program a set of start numbers and ending numbers and the computer goes through the list calling every possible variation. That's how it even gets unlisted and cell numbers. Don't wast your time with this. There is nothing you can do. Other than make sure you have call display and ignore them. You can set your phone to ring four times or six etc., before hanging up. This can be done at the phone company end too. If you know what to do, login and set it yourself.
Thanks for the posts. Call display is great. I do not pickup the calls unless I know who is calling. So thanks for the posts everyone. I looked this up too and found it was a big scam.
