Called my mobile multiple times today.  No message.

called cell, no sound, no message.

The phone number prefix of 189 is a giveaway that this is a bogus number -- the one hundreds are never used in a prefix for ANY United States numbers.  Block them all!!

Technically speaking, the 189 is called the exchange number.

And like you say, all exchange numbers that start with "1" are not used as telephone numbers.

calls, leaves no message.  I'm sure it's the home improvement people.
