I get multiple calls from this number on my cell phone. They call when I am at home and I get really bad cell service where I live so I have never heard what they want. I knew that it was a nuisance call but wasn't sure what. I don't owe anyone any money so they are wasting their time on me.
My wife got a call from this number but they were not looking for me but my brother. I did not give out any info and I wont because they did not give me any info about them.
Debt collector asked for person who used this number 7 years ago. Dispute between maid services & previous clients who were ripped off. Annoying .....!!!!
This company called my husband's cell phone although we have no idea how they got it...asking for me. IRONICALLY they would not provide any information regarding the call except to say it was personal. This is not the only collection agency to do this. They are looking for my cousin's wife who has ALMOST the same name as I do. Each time I explain this to the collector I state nicely that I know they are just doing their jobs but if I get one more call I will engage a lawyer as it will be considered harrassment. Each time they have removed my husband's telephone nuumber and have not called back. HOWEVER...in a few months we hear from yet another collection agency.
I need to figure out how to clean up the SOURCE of the information that all these companies are using. Anyone else had this problem and solved it?
Thanks to this board, I realized that this collection company is using a cell phone account to make these calls. They don't leave a message and use this local cell number to make you less suspicious.
My wife recieved a phone call from this number asking about her mother. They must be able to access the emergency contact records from other sources like medical or financial. Naturally they wouldn't state why or what they needed.
