I've been selling items/posting ads on apps like LetGo and Offer Up (the latter seeming to be the biggest culprit of all) and have these numbers reach out to me with an email address or this one today asked to text offering to purchase the item that's for sale. I've fell for it the first time via email and the person insisted that they could come to me being that they are out of state, to please give them my address and they would send me a overnight check with an additional hold fee. Today, this number gave me the same script but said it was a family emergency and then went on about insisting for my address to send a check to. Like ummmm.... no. Anyway, BEWARE! Idk who these people really are but it's getting a little scary.
Calls several time a day, clamming to be security support for Microsoft. Belittles your knowledge of computers, then insists you to download a program that phish's for your personnel {soft3 (if i remember correctly)} information for marketing to target you and who know's what. Do not engage them and just block the number to avoid any possible harm to you and your computer.
