Someone with a heavy Indian accent called one of my company sites from 650.394.6287 and told my coworker they had received a message from her computer that it possibly had a virus. After my coworker repeatedly asked what company they were calling from the person eventually hung up. Caller ID said 'San Carlos'.

Same thing has happen to me several times. They are very pushy people with a thick Indian accent. They won't give you any information about their company, they just try to persuade you to let them in your computer because they are with Microsoft and receiving messages about your internal computer problems. They act like the are from Microsoft. I tell them, if you have my e-mail send me your credentials. They just keep on pushing. Have looked this up and it's a scam. I feel sorry for the people who buy into it and give them access to all their personal information.
