I f you paid by Green dot money pak or something similar your money is lost. If you used a CC card of debit card you can go back to the bank and have the transaction reversed for fraud.
Pay particular attention to item #4!
Things to remember about loans offered by phone or e-mail:
Loans
1. No reputable lender will lend you money over the phone.
2. No reputable lender will lend you money by e-mail
3. On-line lenders are nothing more than conduits for another loan scam.
4. Advance fees for loans are always illegal. At least in most American states.
5. If you want to borrow money, go to an established brick and mortar lender that has been around awhile.
6. If you receive a call from someone with an Indian accent either a. threatening you or b. offering you something, you know it’s a scam and you should hang up immediately.
7. These people are predators, the calls are not random, they have information that they have bought from various sources and know your financial history. If you have ever taken out a pay-day loan, they have all your information. They know who they are calling. They like to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and sometimes members of the immigrant community. Also, those who might be in financial difficulty.

I Retired From GE Capital. They are now Syncroney Bank.There is mo longer a Financial institution that is under the GE name . I recieved a call from someone claiming to be from GE Capital payday loans yesterday and an email today with the GE logo on top. IT makes me angry beyond discription. They take a companys good name and run it into the ground. THIS IS FRAUD.
They got me too well actually in the process ughhhh I knew it and even tried to question then about it but they just talk fast and cute short never really answering me. Is there any way to get back my money I sent them?? Who can I call?? What can i do???

Advance fee loans are illegal period and in some states, so are the payday loans. Please be aware the scammers may also claim down the road that you have taken a loan and try to extort money from you that way as well!

Keep in mind that if they do not place you on their internal DNC list, they can still get into trouble. As a rule, survey's are exempt from the DNC though.
