Read all the posting re this phone number but decided to call it anyway. Alan answered and said he was a career advisor and was calling me regarding the resume I posted online. I did not post anything online. I sent several resumes directly to specific employers. Alan said he did not represent any specific company and was simply trying to verify the info contained in my resume which he would then pass along to the employers and they would contact me if interested. I started to say that I wasn't comfortable verifying anything with him, but he hung up in mid-sentence. Thanks, Alan!
Yes, #650-557-2003 is bogus! I called in reply to the same text as noted above. after hearing all these tips that "Career Advisors" had to offer in looking for employment, while I waiting for an operator, it kept me on the phone for 4minutes and then disconnected the call. I didn't want to take a chance that this could be for the job I just applied for and called from a different phone. After hearing all the tips again, ALAN picked up asking me for my number and hung up on me while I confirmed his number. I'm wondering how much $$$ I will be charged on my phone, so I'll call my carrier, If Alan was trying to get info, he is out of luck...I didn't use a smart phone! Don't call ALAN regardless of any jobs you have applied or how applied. There should be a locking up snakes like this who prey on honest people who are just trying to better their lives!
