This is from "Career Advisors"...but these are the rudest people I've ever spoken with. Possibly they need to rehire in their call center - asking for people that know more about Customer Service.
I've received texts from this number and also 650-830-7049. its a company called "Jobtomic". they are telemarketers of a sort, generating leads for prospective FUTURE customers/enrollees of Universities, financial institutions, and other organizations that they then SELL to those institutions. Jobtomic emails job ads that THEY acquired from Indeed (ads that were legitimately posted on Indeed), and they use any Responses to those ads to call/text the applicant and attempt to get confidential personal info from you. I have heard from them a few times... I always refuse to give my info, but I don't know if my application that they received ever went through to the actual employer I was applying to (??). I am sure what they are doing is LEGAL, but it still seems sketchy. its better to avoid Jobtomic job ads
