I receive calls everyday during work hours from this number 650-835-4483. Usually up to 10-12 times a day. I've tried:

Stop harrassing me...
With all responses they just hang up. I've tried calling my carrier (t-mobile) and although I'm on a do not call list already, my carrier wants to charge me $5 a month so they can block their number. Rediculous!
You guys are all lucky to at least get someone to talk to, they just hang up on me every time I answer. If I don't answer they leave me a voice mail of 5 seconds of silence. I can hear telemarketers rattling away in the background, but no one will talk to me. I think the best way to stop these guys would be for everyone to go into their local police department and file a harassment report. You may have to check your state laws, but most states have laws against this kind of telephone harassment.
It's a little tricky because most states don't count it as harassment if it's a telemarketer, but in my case, tehy won't tell me who they are, they just give me "the silent treatment" and hang up on me which at least in my state totally counts as phone harassment.
I should also note that I only started receiving these calls after forcibly turning down a company that kept calling me and offering me "educational advancement programs," scholarships and the likes. I finally told them to take me off their list and stop calling me and alerted them to my phone number being on the Do Not Call list, he got really angry, told me this was their first time ever calling me (for the fifth time that day). I told him I don't care how many times he thinks they've called again, if they call me one more time I will report them as harassment, he got really angry, made some idle threats and then hung up on me. I think they're using this number to retaliate and harass me as retribution for me turning them down.
Try filing a harassment report at your local police station. If enough of us do this, hopefully some department will eventually look into it. Filing a report is the first step to being able to get a subpoena which would require phone companies to reveal who the calls are coming from and potentially shut them down.
I have the same problem where they hang up on me no matter what I say. I think it is retribution for me turning them down on their other telemarketing calls. I have let them know since they won't speak or identify themselves, and they won't stop calling me it counts as phone harassment. That warning is requisite in many states before you can file a harassment charge.
i get calls from this number starting at 7:30 in the morning, i have told them to stop calling this number and even asked for a mgr or supervisor. They then hang up . what can i do to stop the calls?
