This was "Anne", a HEAVILY accented female claiming to be from Insure.com, calling randomly in total violation of the National Do-Not-Call Registry. Here's what I do to help these scum, uh, find another occupation: I gave her completely bogus information about my car, health and house. She promised to pass the info on to "Agents" who will call with insurance quotes. Since these Agent folks are the ones using "Anne" to drive sales to them (as a Sales Aggregator), when they call I'll waste as much of their time as possible, giving more bogus info. Eventually, I'll let them know that they have been PUNKED because they are using illegally-operating entities to get sales leads, that there are LOTS of us who don't appreciate it, and that they should explore other means to get sales. MUCH more effective than complaining (to who?) or blocking (they just keep changing numbers). Do you REALLY want to stop this crap...?
