I received the same msg and a check for over $2000 how exactly  would I go about sending it to the feds

I, too, received the same same messages for secret shopping opportunity as previous posts and then here is the one for the assignment with a check that arrived at my door from Kay Family Trust from Belmont CA for $2880.60.  I called the number to ask why the forwarding address was in South Africa and did not receive a return call at all. There are a few discrepancies in the emails and the names keep changing from Christopher to David to Kenneth.  The company name from email to email changes too from CSR Research to GC Group.  For the record there is not any companies with either names that I can find.  Better steer clear of this scam.
