They called me stating I owe taxes and that if I don't pay them 200-300$ immediately the sheriff's department will be coming to arrest me. I never knew the irs worked like this so I did some research because they have been harassing me and now I see it's a scam. Please do something about these people.
This came as a recorded message. This the IRS, forgot the name that the so called officer gave, he said I have a critical lawsuit against me. He said that if I ignore his call that would be in bad trouble and would wish me good luck. He then wishes me good luck.
Got the same recording from some guy named Edward Jonathan Combs. My case #ir7416 and to contact his office immediately @ 860-215-8381. I did not call because this is the second set of IRS scammers contacting me from different numbers.
