It's Verizon Wireless. Apparently, they have to text you to tell you you're bill is overdue, then call you 2,391,381 times that same day. I paid my bill an hour ago, dudes. Get with the program.
This phone call came early on a Saturday morning, appearing to originate from my local area code (St. Paul-ish). Name itself was blank on caller ID. Luckily my phone was still silenced.
Also had texts from Verizon that my account was past due. When I listened to the message it was 40 seconds of a robot asking (3x worth) if this was me, by my full first, middle, and last name. Just like when I was in trouble as a kid. Lol.
Verizon has confirmed that this number is not a valid representative of Verizon and it is a scam. Please do not provide any account information or personal information. We did not have a passed due amount we could not figure out why they would be calling, but if your account is overdue, call Verizon directly.
