Woman calling to speak with the CEO/President about implementation of membership was the first call, the 2nd call she wanted to know the number of employees we have and the 3rd call she just wanted to speak with him. No thanks since I'm pretty sure these calls are BS

This number actually IS the Chamber but I'm not sure if the caller is really the Chamber. Anyone can spoof caller ID to show any name or phone number. I get calls from this caller often, they are seeking the business owner to most likely make a pitch for the Company to become a member. I would guess that theses calls end up going to voicemail because most often there is no time for telephone "sales" calls...much better to send something in the mail and include a contact name to call if there is any interest. Telemarketing these days is a dead end, or at least here it is. These calls get answered by voicemail and the calls do not get returned. This does not stop the caller from calling and calling which gives the intended person all the more reason to never answer. Some day they will figure it out and stop calling....I hope.
