I've received calls on my Verizon cell a few times from this number, I answer and the machine says if you are so and so please push 1 if not press 2. The person they are saying is an old ladies name, not me. previous times I just hang up but today I decided to push 1 and see what happens. It connected me right away with a live person and she said are you so and so and I said yes. She said well you owe $190 on your Verizon account would you like to pay that, I said sure and she said ok, I'm ready for your card #. Thats when I said wait a minute, you said a name, I said yes and now you think your getting a CC #, you didn't tell me anything about the account, didn't verify any information and most glaringly you say your with Verizon, your calling my Verizon # and your not even calling the correct person, if your really with Verizon you would be able to look at the phone # you called and see the # your calling is not the person your looking for. I've called Verizon for things to do with my account and they always verify many things with you prior to talking anything to do with the account with you. This has Scam written all over it, even if they have your name correct, I'd hang up and call Verizon direct to deal with your account, sadly I'm sure they scam plenty of elderly people into giving their account info to them.
