Yes it is a scam,that money order will turn out to be worthless. If you have deposited it, notify your bank immediately, do not withdraw any money, lest you will be responsible for that money and the fees involved.
If you have not deposited it, take it to the post office along with the envelope it came in and have them forward it to the postal inspectors.
They are telling me they made a mistake (overpaid me) in the money order that they are sending me for a furniture item. They want me to send a refund immediately by Western Union to the information they will send me.? Anyone else delt with anyone like this? Is it a scam.
This is a famous SCAM. They send more money than is necessary for a product or maybe an item you're selling and ask you to refund the difference. The thing is, the money order or check is a fraud. You will get nothing and they will get your money. Don't fall for it. Read here:

Contacted them regarding a puppy. The person that answered was struggling with English and couldn't answer the most basic requests for information. Wanted me to send him a money order, and got off the phone when I asked him for his email address. Definitely a scam.
