It doesn't cost them much of anything to spoof a recorded message using voip , when they get one or two people to fall for their scam they make more than most crud in their country make in a year, holy cow we don't eat beef they're our relatives reincarnated, hahaha
It costs them A LOT more if they have to pay folks to waste time taking FAKE INFO. With these insurance folks I like to feed them totally bogus info on me and my family of 5 (sometimes 6...). I try to keep them on the line as long as possible and can usually get 10-15 minutes or more. At some point I apologize to the actual agent, but tell them that their management needs to STOP USING Sales Aggregators who violate the National DoNotCall Registry with random calling. Time to PICK UP and FIGHT BACK.
Robo call about health insurance. Pressed to talk to a person to waste their time. When we got to the part where he asked what my premium was and I said $67/mo he hung up on me. Guess he couldn't do any better? LOL
