robo call about "free water testing"
I just read an article in the local paper about not falling for this scheme. Our utility company would notify customers if there was any problems with our water.
Called twice on Feb 16. Left no message. We already know the water tested fine here because we saw it on the news and the cities webpage. Doubt this is a legitimate call anyway.
Received a call today from this number--caller ID showed "Water Bulletin." In checking other sites for this number it appears others have received calls from this number where caller claimed to be from Microsoft regarding a computer scam, an insurance scam of some sort and also selling massages. Not sure which of these is correct, but my caller ID showed "Water Bulletin." So, I can guarantee this is NOT a legitimate number.
