Take it from someone who did a lot of phone solicitation in previous jobs and had to consult do not call lists, even if you're on the list, an organization or company can still contact you if you provided your number to them directly such as through signing up for a promotional giveaway, providing contact information for alumni organizations, etc. If you've ever provided your number to the University of St. Thomas or attended school there, they can (and will) contact you for their charitable giving drives. Best thing would be to actually answer and ask them not to call any more. If you ask they must remove you from the call lists (though it can take some time to process through the database). Simply ignoring the calls then complaining about it online does nothing.
