actually left a recorded message that said a friend or family member had filled in a contest ballot at (as if someone would fill out a ballot on my behalf) walmart, the bay or zellers & i had won $2100 towards a free trip in cancun and to press 1 to claim lol. they called my landline in Halifax NS
Last week got a call EVERY Day from one number; finally I blocked it. Now, today 5/31 got a call from THIS number. I suspect they are all connected somehow.
THESE CALLS STARTED **IMMEDIATELY** after I validated a new SEARS CHARGE CARD issued by CITIBANK.
Am currently in a dispute with ***CITIBANK*** (ONE OF THE ORCHESTRATORS OF THE MORTGAGE FINANCIAL MELTDOWN AND subsequent RECESSION *AND* RECIPIENT OF *YOUR* TAX MONEY) so I suspect they are 'siccing" these telemarketing SCUMBAGS on us as REVENGE. Especially since I REFUSED their 'monitor your credit program" for a mere $13 a MONTH! That's OVER $150 A YEAR for something I can and DO myself! THEY PUT BOGUS CHARGES ON YOUR CREDIT, then CHARGE YOU TO "MONITOR" WHETHER THEY'VE REMOVED THEM OR NOT!!!!!
I missed the call. The number showed up on caller I.D., so I googled it. Don't want the call, won't return it. Need to figure out how to block it on an i-phone, I'm researching it.
