Hmmmmm...it's based out of Anaheim, CA. If IRS was going to call, which they usually don't (I believe they send letters), you think it would be from DC. I didn't even bother to answer since I didn't recognize it. If it's that important, they'll leave a message.
Who ever these people are they DO NOT leave a message I am on the Texas and Federal NO CALL LISTS and for all the good that does I may as well report it to McDonalds.
So I got this call, so I decided to call the same number back. The message left said the IRS, which I knew couldn't be possible.
The recorded message at 657-202-6832 was something about WCHS or WHSC and thanked me for calling on my membership. Because I didn't answer my call, I didn't qualify for today's $100 drawing, but that I would be placed in tomorrow's drawing and in the quarterly $1000 drawing. Then it gave options of different drawings or reduced prescription savings drug card. The final option was to cancel my subscription.
After 3 or 4 attempts, it said that it would remove me from my subscription but to give it 7-10 business days.
Folks, I don't have a subscription to this. I am on the do not call registry. Just thought I would pass it on so that people would know what it is.
