I have been getting a lot of calls from a robot calling device with the telephone number: 657-202-9018 which is from Atlanta Georgia. A computerized female voice gives a name, and says that she is calling in connection to a "Disability Claim Assistance Program" and then asks me to pick up the call which will follow from her assistance line when an assistand is free. I then got a call from 404-891-5643 which is from Anaheim / Santa Anna, California. I picked up but there was nobody there. I think it is a scam. I have never asked for assistance on a disability claim. I have no intention of ever asing for assistance. At the same time, I cannot afford to run the numbers down and find out what the company names are. I do not know how they got my number. I am located in Iowa. None of this is local to me. I do not interact with robotic systems. (Even when the Doctors office calls to verify an appointment, I do not respond to the prompts. Too many people unemployed for my liking, and until they employ someone to talk to me I'm not interested). Anyway, I am fairly sure this is a scam, and they will ask for identification, and Social Security information. Do not give out your information to people you do not know, and who you do not have good reason to trust completely...EVER.
