The caller - pre-recorded message identifies themself as 'Debbie' from Claim Assistance Group'. When you try to call this number back to tell them to stop calling you get another pre-recorded message that says 'no one is available to take your call' and then disconnects.
They call multiple times a day. Each time I send them a text to tell them to stop calling they continue to do so.
I have registered my phone number on the National Do Not Call List as well as the State of California (where the call originates from) Do Not Call List. The next time they call I will file a complaint with the Attorney General of the State of California.
Tired of these type of telemarkerters who are the VERY REASON why there has to be a Do Not Call List.
These jerks keep calling my business phone. I get an automated voice saying it is Debbie from Claims Assistance and that I may be entitled to free income and do I want it. I reply "No" knowing that this is a scam. The voice continues by saying "I can still help you - does anyone in your family need legal help?" I answer "No, and quit bugging me! This is a business phone, for a college - not a personal line." Still, they call back, 15-20 times a day. If I try to call the number, they say they can't take my call and hang up. I can't call my provider, since it's not my personal account. I asked the college telecommunications office to call AT&T and have them blocked. I can't believe iPhones won't let you block the number yourself unless you jailbreak the phone, which of course I'm not going to do, especially since it's not mine. Who are these crooks???
