thanks for the info... these guys keep calling asking for my Mom who is elderly.. when I say Hi I'm her son, what can I do for you.. they immediately hang up, no explanation at all... Thanks for the info i'm going to call them tomorrow.

Best thing to do is contact Southern California Edison.  They allow them to sell their products with a rebate, but should yank their contract with them.  Call SCE at (800) 655-4555 or (866) 701-7868 and don't let them say there's nothing they can do about it.  They can.
